Date #6: The End

My sixth date was a couple of weekends ago with Miranda, an engineer with doctorate. She didn’t look all that good on her picture, and looked even worse in person. Her body was okay because she plays soccer on her time off, but her face was like a 3 or 4. So why did I agree to date her? Was I desperate? Hell no. I picked her because I knew this was going to be my last date, and I wanted to make sure it was with someone I felt I could have a good time with.

We met at a bakery in Ithaca, a nice little town in Upstate New York. Our conversation went on for two hours, with topics ranging from Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica to healthy eating and my "unsettling" knowledge of chick flicks. It was easily the best date I had been on this year, which is kinda funny because there was zero sexual chemistry. It was just two nerds chatting it up for a while, and I was glad to end this disaster of a dating experience on a good note. But the good note didn’t stop there.

Seeing that I’ve given up on dating for the time being, I decided to switch my eHarmony profile to NYC. I wanted to see what types of women would message me without me making first contact or viewing them. My rule for showing faces on this blog is that the woman has to be an 8 or above, and I can’t have anything bad to say about her:

Yeah. Go ahead, Smalltown. Tell me again how worthless I am. I had to work my ass off in this “not-gonna-take-your-black-ass-seriously” town just to get a date from a 6, and these beautiful accomplished NYC women are messaging me without me having to lift a finger. See, this is what I’m talking about! Smalltown women want me to work incredibly hard just to get them when there are better looking and higher quality broads available in my hometown? Fuck you! Seriously! I knew there was something wrong with this whole Smalltown dating situation and getting rejected by all these broads. One day after I changed my zip code, I was getting “eH” notifications on my phone like crazy! Hell, I'm still getting them! The only women in Smalltown that were interested in me or sent me winks and smiles were the undesirables or those who were only interested in being a fuck buddy with introductory lines like, “Can I ask how big are you?” I'm not kidding. Four women sent me almost the exact same message as their intro. Ugh! I wanted the sex of a fuck buddy with the stability of a relationship. Was that really asking too much? Couldn't they have at least faked it like I always do?

So with that, my dating ventures are officially over for the time being. I’ll close my eHarmony account when the subscription runs out on the 16th, and I can focus solely on next year’s real estate purchases. Once I’ve reached the point where I can quit the shipping depot and have weekends free, I’ll definitely do the dating thing again in NYC. I'll probably use eHarmony again, as they really do have the best women who I can actually respect. I can have nice weekend dates at the end of every week, which is good enough for me (as long as it ends with sex). You know, someone might look at this post and assume that NYC girls are easier to get, but they would be dead wrong. The reasons why it's easier for me there is that women in big cities have more exposure to successful African American men. Smalltown is used to another type, a type that doesn't get taken seriously for anything other than a good fuck.

Until I have weekends free, it looks like sex is gonna have to wait.  I’ve wired my mind to despise fuck buddies, and it would take too much time and effort to make the act acceptable again. I would apologize to my dick, but I don't think he'll forgive me anymore until I get laid. Maybe the fuck buddies in other places are good, but the ones in Smalltown are seriously not worth the ghetto ass trouble they can get me into. So that’s at least another year of residence at Jerk Off Hotel. Ugh.

I’ll wrap up the Ahkenaten Swag Recovery Project (ASRP) this month, as a guide for dating and getting broads like I used to. Sometimes I forget just how good I was and still am. Living in a place like Smalltown can do that to a guy. I am extremely proud that I stuck to my guns. I said that I wouldn’t take anything less that the quality I’m used to and I stuck to that. Yeah I know that I’ll be in jerk off city for a while longer, but anything beats a relationship with a low quality broad. Waking up next to that face every morning… no thanks. Been there, done that. And, if my past girlfriends aren’t enough evidence, these women from NYC are proof that I should never EVER settle for less. The women of Smalltown can believe that black men are only good for sex and deserve garbage low self-esteem women as mates. No crime there. The only crime would be if they made me believe it.

P.S.: Getting life back to normal with no women won't be easy. There are a couple of women at the jobs that started flirting with me out of nowhere, like the sexy female mechanic at the shipping depot. Every time I see her I want to fuck her in every position I know. But I'll get the hang of it. Smalltown is for work. NYC is for play. It'll sink in if I say it enough.
